The Grammy nominated band Kinky dropped by our studios right before they played an amazing concert at Chula Vista´s ´Over The Border´. We decided to change thing a bit, so we left part of the interview on the hands of fans from the band. The guys from Kinky also performed a never before released version of their hit ´Coqueta´.

Trev and the X1FM crew headed south of the border and traveled to MOFO Bar in Tijuana Mexico. We sat down with Brezel Göring from Stereo Total. Brezel described his music as ´Punk Rock Disco Crazy Electronic Music mixed French Chanson´ he also gave us a amazing demonstration of his deck and some of the gear used by Stereo Total while on stage.

The Chicago based-duo performed at our studios after playing a stellar set the previous night at the Hard Rock Hotel. Trevor and Jen had a chance to sit-down and chat with the guys from Walter Meego. The band performed an intimate acoustic set featuring some of their newest material from their forthcoming album, and an acoustic cut from their hit "Wanna be a star"!

First we got our production van stuck in a garage in downtown S.D. from there we had to rush to San Diego´s House of Blues before they guys from JEW went on stage. Fortunately we had an awesome interview with the guys from Jimmy Eat World. They talk about how some of them meet during kindergarten, and how their success is directly linked to them staying mildly drunk.
