Today's band is Spacehog, is from Leeds, England and is heavily influenced by Queen, David Bowie, and T-Rex. The song is called: 'In the Meantime', and was the biggest hit off their first album, resident alien.
Spacehog's first album remains one of my all time favorite albums, and includes several interesting styles and sounds. Here's a few interesting facts about the album:

Today's band is "Os Mutantes" from Brazil - which translates to The Mutants. The song is called "A Minha Menina". I remember the first time i heard the song, with its strange intro, and old sounding recording. Today's band is "Nerf Herder" from Santa Barbara, California. They take their name from the scene in "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" when Princess Leia calls Han solo "...a stuck up, half-witted, scruffy looking Nerf Herder!" (SEE BELOW FOR THE FULL DESCRIPTION OF A NERF HERDER)
The song is "Van Halen", and was possibly the bands biggest hit. You might also know them from the Theme song to Buffy the Vampire Slayer... what???!! (Check for yourself if you don't believe me! Buffy Theme: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO6gLWA0hhI)
The band was very popular in Santa Barbara -...
