Chrysler has announced that its 2009 model-year cars will be have a wireless communication option called uconnect. Made up of Bluetooth hands-free, hard-drive based media, GPS and, most interestingly, the ability to turn your car into a WiFi hotspot, uconnect will be available on most Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles starting in August.
uconnect Phone uses integrated microphones to act as a handsfree kit for a Bluetooth-linked cellphone; new for 2009 is phonebook syncronization for up to 1,000 contacts, which can be browsed and dialled via voice command. With a summer of big sports events here in San Diego County (the U.S. Open) and in China (the Olympic Games), the Fair’s 2008 theme is “Summer of Sports,” a celebration of sports and athletes in San Diego County and around the world. The theme will be reflected in a newly created exhibit presented by Jeffrey Scott Fine Magnetics. The exhibit will be located in the Summer of Sports Exhibit building, just west of the O’Brien Gate, and in games and activities throughout the Fairgrounds. Check this out. In what can only be the largest ever assemblage of viral video stars, Weezer has managed to round up an incredible guest cast for its new "Pork and Beans" video, a teaser for the band's upcoming red album -- titled "Weezer" again, which comes out June 3.

A radio revolution
To the crew of a dozen or so hipsters behind the 2-year-old X1FM Network (www.x1fmradio.com), an Internet radio station and content provider, “terrestrial” is a dirty word.

we wanted to do from the beginning is completely revamp the business
