Australian rock band, active in the late 1980s, essentially a vanity recording project for INXS frontman Michael Hutchence. It consisted of Hutchence (vocals) and Ollie Olsen (production), accompanied by key members of the Melbourne post-punk scene, most of whom had previously collaborated with Olsen.
The project followed on from Hutchence and Olsen΄s work on the film Dogs In Space, where they met. Max Q released one critically acclaimed but commercially unsuccessful self-titled album in 1989 and had minor hits with the songs "Sometimes" (originally recorded by Olsen with Orchestra Of Skin And Bone) and "Way of the World". They toured briefly before Hutchence went back to his day job with INXS.

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes is a punk rock supergroup and cover band that formed in 1995. Drawn together by a mutual love of 1960s and 1970s music, the Gimme Gimmes work exclusively as a cover band. They have covered songs from such artists as Cat Stevens, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, and John Denver. The band is named after a children΄s book of the same name by Gerald G. Jampolsky and Diane V. Cirincione.

Meat Loaf was born Marvin Lee Aday in Dallas, Texas, United States, North America. He was the first child of Wilma Artie (née Hukel), a school teacher and a member of the Vo-di-o-do Girls gospel quartet, and Orvis Wesley Aday, a police officer. His father was an alcoholic who would go on drinking binges for days at a time. Marvin and his mother would drive around to all the bars in Dallas, looking for Orvis to take him home. Because of this, Marvin often stayed with his grandmother, Charlsee Norrod.
Meat Loaf relates a story in his autobiography, To Hell and Back, about how he, a friend, and his friend΄s father drove out to Love Field to watch John F. Kennedy land. After watching him leave the airport, they decided to head to Market Hall which was on Kennedy΄s parade route. On the way they heard that he had been shot so they headed to Parkland Hospital where they saw Jackie Kennedy get out of the car and Governor John Connally get pulled out, although they never saw Kennedy taken out.
